Harlan Murphy has over three decades of experience as a transactional energy attorney handling matters primarily related to financing retail energy providers and the physical and financial trading of energy commodities, as well as any manner of general corporate, transactional and litigation matters arising from various small businesses and individual clients.

Mr. Murphy’s unique skillset as a transactional energy attorney is derived from roles both as internal counsel, including two officer-level positions in large, dynamic energy trading companies, and as external counsel at large prestigious law firms with notable energy practices.

Mr. Murphy has extensive experience with ‘borrowing base/credit wrap’ financings of retail energy providers and commonly-used agreements used to trade energy commodities, such as ISDAs, EEIs, NAESBs and related credit-support agreements.
